SPECIAL NEEDS - ADHD, DYSLEXIA OR DYSPRAXIA

I have experience of teaching pupils with Special Needs such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.

In my experience it is perfectly possible to teach pupils who have learning difficulties as long as Instructors are told in advance and have the opportunity to adjust their lesson plans accordingly.

There is nothing to be worried about and it is perfectly possible to learn to drive as long as the correct methods are used by the instructor .

ADHD - you are probably easily sidetracked, have a short concentration span, or confused when a lot is going on around you

Lesson plans and content are adjusted accordingly.

Dyslexia - Poor organisational skills and short term memory problems.  Speed of processing instructions can be an issue.

Lesson plans and content are adjusted accordingly.

Dyspraxia - Poor organisational skills with co-ordination difficulties and difficulty in retaining information such as road directions and spatial awareness problems.

Lesson plans and content are adjusted accordingly.

In all cases I ensure that we move forward at a pace that is suitable for you the pupil.  It is most important that a pupil feels that they have progressed forward during each training session.
